Wheels and tyres are arguably the most important among the many components that are important to a car’s performance. Good wheels and tyres can distinguish between good and bad cars.

A tyre is a piece of rubber designed to provide a cushion for your vehicle while moving on the road. It is also used to transmit braking and driving forces to the road. It also provides stability and a smooth ride.
A wheel is made up of a rim, a hub, and spokes. The rim holds the tyre, and the hub connects the rim to the vehicle’s axle. The spokes are mounted on the wheel in a criss-cross fashion.

Wheels and tyres are also important to the safety of the vehicle. If you drive in rainy weather, a slick is a danger. Slicks provide a smooth ride but can be dangerous if the tyre is punctured.
